Welcome to Happy City, Happy Life! 

 

On the behalf of the organizing committee,  we are delighted to be hosting Happy City, Happy Life, 2017 International Conference on Spatial Planning and Sustainable Development, Seoul. 

I would like to welcome all speakers and participants around the world. We will have more than 200 participants from 15 nations in this conference. 

Diverse topics will be presented and discussed in parallel sessions. With informative sessions addressing healthy, stimulating, just and smart city, this conference aims to inspire all of you. It will be worthy while to delve into the issues and challenges facing our cities and regions under the theme of Happy City, Happy Life. The ultimate goal of spatial planning is to live happily in sustainable society, I believe. 

Moreover, it is a great honor to host the 2017 international conference of SPSD at Seoul. Seoul is the very dynamic metropolis full of attractions and historic and cultural amenities. Recently, some of significant public projects have been spotlighted in the world community. 

I hope all of you enjoy staying in Seoul. 

I would like to appreciate the local organizing committee members and staffs and many sponsors. Without their efforts and supports, the conference would not be possible. The conference is sure to be both educational and entertaining.
